Every year I am lucky enough to be invited to the home of some family friends in Bath over the christmas break. It's always a wonderfully relaxing and fulfilling time, filled with food and drink and laughs and walks like this one through the wonderful English countryside. It's such a contrast to the pace and volume of life in London and always helps put things in to perspective as we reflect on the year that has passed and the new beginning that is about to present itself.
It was a crisp morning, but the fresh air and beautiful light made it all worthwhile.
